Something in my skin oils or perspiration soaks into the micro-pores and the rubber looses its elasticity. The polyurethane straps that came OEM with my various watches have all held up very nicely. My fave strap is the timefactors ladder strap The Timefactors company and many of its watches (including this one) have a cult followingand I've found for good reason. The Baby Dreadnought on the surface is quite unassuming but it's built like a tank and has some really unique styling. T Now, Timefactors (a conglomerate of firms owned by Mr Platts and including Dreadnought) reverses the concept without practically changing the aesthetics of the model of almost two decades ago and compresses it to a case diameter of 38 mm, 45 mm lug to lug and 18 mm between claws. maybe forum change over was daunting...well diver & gold new.
